5th Edition of PropTech Symposia

On March 10, 2025, the 5th PropTech Symposia, held under the auspices of the Princely Government of Monaco in collaboration with the Monaco Economic Board (MEB), ESCP Business School, and key industry chambers and unions, brought together global leaders to explore AI’s transformative impact on real estate. The event was attended by H.E. Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Minister of State, alongside renowned experts bridging proptech, blockchain, and AI.

Centered on the theme “PropTech: Reinventing the Future of Real Estate,” the symposium—led by Monaco’s Digital Economy Unit (under the Interministerial Delegation for Digital Transition)—delved into strategic challenges, disruptive business models, and AI’s practical applications, with a focus on tokenization, smart contracts, and blockchain-driven liquidity.

Exclusive Pre-Conference Roundtable

Ahead of the main event, 30+ Monaco-based investors and experts engaged with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in a closed-door session co-hosted by the Government’s Attractiveness Unit and Monaco Private Label, fostering high-level dialogue on institutional adoption of digital assets.

Prestigious Keynotes & Panel Highlights

The conference opened with a keynote by Dominique Alba, Director General of Ateliers Jean Nouvel, on AI in architectural and urban design. Notable panelists included:

  • Ana Lozano Portillo (CEO, Nidus Lab): Generative AI for Automated Property Design
  • Brice Vandevoorde (CEO, Realiz.io): Tokenization and AI: Redefining Real Estate Economics
  • Jaime Luque (Professor, ESCP): Market Trends & Tech’s Impact on Real Estate Investment
  • Anas Bataw (Partner, Zacua Ventures): AI-Driven Urban Sustainability for Sovereign Wealth Portfolios

Moderated by Thierry Cherel (Head of Natixis CIB Research) and hosted by Geneviève Berti (Government Spokesperson), the discussions underscored Monaco’s role in merging tradition with fintech innovation.

Academic Excellence: ESCP Partnership

Since 2019, Monaco’s Government and ESCP Business School have co-led the Real Estate Tech Chair, launched in Paris by H.S.H. Prince Albert II. This collaboration birthed the Global PropTech Barometer—a flagship report by the Digital Economy Unit, with the 2024 edition debuted at the symposium.

Networking & Strategic Opportunities

The event concluded with a networking session, uniting 150+ professionals to forge partnerships. The 2025 Symposia solidified its position as the premier forum for AI-driven real estate innovation, aligning with Monaco’s three core objectives:

  • Showcasing the Global PropTech Barometer's insights.
  • Guiding industry leaders in digital best practices (e.g., blockchain compliance, asset tokenization).
  • Enhancing Monaco's appeal to proptech firms—a sector valued at $634 trillion, with 2024 growth of +13.6% and €47.94B in funding.
